DigitalMediaWire: Online Video Ad Firm SpotXchange Raises Angel Funding

Westminster, Colo. - SpotXchange, the operator of an online video advertising network, announced that it has raised an undisclosed sum in its first round of angel funding.
Participants in the round included Alex Bogusky, chief creative officer at ad agency Crispin Porter and Bogusky, and a number of investors associated with Janus Capital Group.
Launched in November 2006, Colorado-based SpotXchange offers an online auction marketplace with advertisers can buy and sell online video advertising.
The company will use the funds to open additional offices, expand its business development team and for product development.
